Souvenir or bad luck?

About 4 years ago, I experienced my first trip to Maui. We went to a sight on the east side where a volcano had erupted. There was lava rock everywhere and I picked up a little piece and headed back to the house. It is sitting in my bathroom next to a hula girl. I was watching the travel channel tonight and they were doing a feature on Hawaii. I learned that if you take a lava rock you will have bad luck. I had no clue that it was bad luck until I watched this show. I found this website that offers to put them back on the islands, and also features some letters from people sending their rocks back:

Exhibit A:
2004_349.jpgRec 05/23/04We visited the Big island of Hawaii last month. We brought back with us two small pieces of lava rock. We're not superstitious people, but we can no longer overlook all the bad luck we've been experiencing since we've returned home. The following is just an example of the worst of our luck: dog was sprayed by a skunk at approximately the same time the lava was picked up, lawn tractor blew up, and most recently, a serious boating accident with our brand new boat. Thanking you in advance for returning the lava. B., Canton, OH

Bunnie would be very pissed if she got sprayed by a skunk so I am sure she wants me to return it.

What do you think I should do?

Quote of the day

"Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could; some blunders and absurdities have crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; you shall begin it serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense." Ralph Waldo Emerson

Confessions: Part..

I watched this family on Montel sometime during the Summer and I have been hooked ever since. Recently I have become very fond of their son. He's a few years older than me which is good and he's got a great heart. Who is this man? Well my friends I have found a photo for you:

His name is Leland. You aren't familar with him? Well maybe you will recognize his father.

Duane "Dog" Chapman and his wife Beth, as in Dog the Bounty Hunter. This show comes on A&E and it's pretty self explanatory. Dog is a bounty hunter. His family works with him, and this is where I met and grew to love Leland. Leland is one of like 17 kids, I kid you not (no pun intended). The youngest one is like 2 and the oldest one is like 40, I am assuming. They really are a nice, caring family. A little on the crazy side, but very kind. Apparently Leland isn't as hot to everyone else as I think so, my friend thinks he's "eww" but said he had a nice body. He lives in Hawaii. No one loves Hawaii more than I do. I have dreams of becoming his wife and joining the bounty hunting family. Maybe posing as a hooker or something to rake in the bad guys, and of course being my husband's secretary at his bailbonds store. No thanks to caring on the family tradition of 17 kids though. If my dad read this and saw that I was admiring a tattooed, long haired freak, he might flip out. He always says, there's nothing uglier than tattooes and smokers, but when I wanted to get my nose pierced that was added to the list as well.

Seriously though, who isn't attracted to a bad boy?
