I found a new friend.
I've gone and done it. At first it was an accident, I burned my dinner and had to take the flaming pan outside on the porch. But this time, I needed a friend and she/he looked hungry. So I have befriended the stray cat that hangs out on the front porch. It's a Persian cat, with beautiful blue eyes. I don't know if it's a boy or girl, but I have fondly just named it Persia. I think its a she because there is a faded pink collar around her neck. So we are going to assume its a girl from now on until I have a reason to think otherwise. I gave her some of my lunch meat, and she rubbed up against my legs and purred. It melted my poor "I prefer dogs" heart. I think I might be fond of this cat and I am not fond of cats. I think I am using Persia as a Bunnie replacement not to mention a "I have no friends" replacement. I don't know if I've bit off more than I could chew by taking on a new mouth to feed, but it gives me a purpose. I like being needed by my new friend. When I get new batteries for my camera, I will take a picture of her and post it.
